Raizes Teatro is a theater company, site specific performances, videos, which promotes human rights through the arts: theatrical shows, graphic campaigns and conferences.

Founded in 2018 by Alessandro Ienzi, it is currently the main partner of Human Freedom 21, an international program organized with Global Campus of Human Rights, of Venice, Avant-Garde Lawyers of Paris and International Human Rigthts Art Festival of New York.
Raizes is a special mention at the Indivenire 2018 under 35 Award for innovation in direction and scenic writing.
Guest of the EU Parliament in 2019 for the thirtieth anniversary of the UN Convention on the rights of the child, with “La Bambinanza”.

He produced Andrea B – Storia di un transgender, play and short film winner of the Hollywood Golden Age Festival, Independent Short Award Los Angeles Festival, Vancouver Film Festival and finalist at the Indie Short Fest
in Los Angeles and at the London Film Festival.
He produced and staged My Name is Patrick Zaki, winner of the Orestiadi Prize, and Activists – Free to Be presented at Barcelona Contemporary Art.
He organized campaigns in defense of Nasrin Sotoudeh, a play starring Sonia Barbadoro, Shady Habash, Sarah Hegazi. Marielle Franco, Ramy Essam.

Former guest of the Summer School in Cinema Human Rights and Advocacy, organized during the Venice International Film Festival, by Picture People, London.
It will be present at the European Union Human Rights Forum, 2021 in Vienna.
